Handwriting is a way to communicate with others, a means of expression, documentation and memorisation.
It is peculiar and particular.
It is as unique as my fingerprints.
Most of us can write. Nobody can write - make the mark - exactly as any one other...perhaps a forger.
So it is with the marks an artist makes. Whatever the medium, the way you hold the brush (or pencil, or...), the way you manipulate it, the pressure you make and leave - all of it is singular. And it all adds up to your 'handwriting'.
I like using, practicing and exploring mine.
There is nothing conscious about it. I just do it...and I see what I leave behind.
