my second small watercolour in indigo - provisionally named Eurydice
I have pondered my small watercolours. I still like them. I am even more pleased with them than before immediately after I had made them. I take this as a good sign. I give them names. The first is Orpheus, the second (above) Eurydice.
Something is happening here now that I didn’t expect. I am entering the Underworld, infinity and history. This is a continuum of time stretching behind and in front of me here and now. The pictures are a gateway to all three. Myth and past, paint and gesture, science and future meld into one thing.
